One point more: If you put a fitting-bolt into the library, it should have a straight x- y- or z-direction. Otherwise it could be difficult to use them.
In some cases it's useful to give 1 or more body points to the part. Positioning will often be easier. You see, it's a lot to learn and practice. :)
In the next step, you can add fittings into a smart tag, and you will be able to place them to many beam-ends at once.
The more I know, the more I like this software! :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

    Hi Kayaker,

I've got your zgb file and had a look at it.
The drilling shold be at the same place where the bolt is.
I think, you should delete the drillings in the bolt, and make them new.
Set the bolt exact in it's correct place (axis = drilling process), and then transfer the drillings again. Now you can copy the bolt to any place you need, and it will make drillings in the axis.

    Hi Kayaker,

there must be something wrong with the drilling parameters. Please, show me the process list of the fitting, or send me the fitting.
    - too many drill processes?
    - wrong parameters?
    - ... ?

Do what I told you, and you will never more make more than 2 drilling groups manually!
There are more benefits of this method: Delete the fitting, recalculate, and the drillings are gone.
Or push the fitting, recalculate, and the drillings are in the new place.

    Hi Kayaker,

I hope, you did not make all these drillings manually?
There is a better method: You once create a fitting, that comes along with all drillings you need (#4-processes). You only have to copy this fitting, and recalculate the beams, and the drillings are done.

Then, save this fitting to your library, and use it for future projects.

Well, how to make a fitting:
    - create a simple beam
    - create a simple screw (in order to become a fitting)
    - make all drillings into the beam, that shall come along with the fitting
    - open the process list of the beam
    - transfer all drilling processes to the screw
    - finish

    Now make a test:
    - delete all drillings from the beam
    - make some short distance copies of the screw (now it is a fitting!)
    - recalculate (3-1-9) the beam

If the drillings are correct, save the fitting to your library. :)

Ja, Apple stellt auch Software dafür her.
