Du solltest mit der Anschaffung von Dicam nicht so lange warten.
Je früher Du es anschaffst, um so mehr Zeit sparst Du damit.Jede Wette: Spätestens nach einer Woche willst Du es für Geld nicht mehr weggeben!

Here they are.
The path names will be different, because I have own path names. -
Before I make "dangerous operations", I save a backup of my house model.
You should never work with lines or edges shorter than 1 mm. I think this can cause problems with 3d precision.
20 segments combined with a small diameter could be "dangerous".Sometimes you need a sixth sense...

I don't know the Krüsi machine.
Please tell your exact problem here, or at Dietrich's hotline. What means: "... dont have correct code..."?

1. Are you using Dietrichs for produce houses in manualy (hand maker) or using CNC wood cutting centre?
I do not produce houses, but I only build the model with Dietrich's, draw plans, and produce machine data for my client's P10/K1/K2.
2. What kind and what manufactory?
3. Are you meeting stuped mistakes in post procesor files?
Every constructor should have worked with a CNC machine himself, at least for 2 weeks. Even if there would be mistakes, then you are able to see them.
In most cases, the mistakes are not produced by the software, but by the constructor, who doesn't know his tool.4. The last question - are Dietrichs company be able to connect constructors job to operator (CNC) in correct way?
The software is very smart, but the constructor's knowledge must also be there. Dietrich's software and a well trained constructor, that's a TEAM.

It's not possible for the forum to have access to your computer.
You can upload the picture onto your webspace, and set a link to it.
Or you upload the picture as attachment, and our admin will change your avatar. -
In the Timber Frame Editor you can define different slice and layer numbers.
It's not possible in the manual panel input menu. Parts from slice 0 are automatically added to layer 0. This is, what users normally want. You can activate all insulation, and manually change the MOS to layer 15. -
Die maximale Anzahl der Bretter ist begrenzt.
Das DLM muss man dann mehrfach anwenden. -
Zitat von Thorvald
...move the cursor (the cross), then the cross disturbs the view and makes a lot of lines, so the view is useless...
This could be a known problem between Vista and OpenGL. Today I read, they are working on it, and soon the solution will come into betatest.
Do you have XP on the desktop pc? That should work quite well with OpenGL-workspace.

It's dangerous to work with 2 walls in the same place. There could be a reason to do that, but you should organize them in different floors. If they are in the same floor, there are problems with automatic wall intersection. Walls from different floors do not intersect with each other.
I think, the best idea is to work with different layers (-20...0...+20)
Example:
I made walls and created yellow glass insulation as panels between the posts.
All insulation is in slice 0, but in layer 15.
When storing the single wall drawing, I activated layer 15.
In my plan, now I have all insulation on DHPEbene15 (in German: Layer = Ebene).BUT: Only the insulation, that belongs to the same wall, comes into this layer.
Maybe, there is other insulation, this would come in an other layer (DHPPlatte or DHPpanel?) -
You can "print" dwg to pdf with every cad or viewer software, which is able to open dwg.
I do not like extern dwg/dxf files with different scales. There are always problems with it. And as result, I also do not export different scaled plans to dxf/dwg. I finish my drawings with Plancad (why not?) and distribute them as plf or pdf. If someone needs dxf (only for measure purpose), I store an 1:1 dxf direct from the 3d-model. All other ways cause too much problems.

You will have no problem, if you have really new entries in the database. It could be, that you changed some materials with the same item number. Then you have to decide this conflict (the program will ask you, which version shall overwrite the other).
-
No problem with small diameters.
There are functions for creating coordinates for different shapes. -
It's no problem to input round posts into a wall.
I created some diameters in the database, now I can use them where ever I want. -
Zitat von Thorvald
Yes exactly - I have new elements in both places, so I probably need to use 4-0 data exchange.
Zitat von Jens KrauseHi Thorvald,
what you want to do is to transfer the database with the current contents to another computer. You do not want to interchange the contents of one database with the contents of another database. So you do not need to use 4-0 in the project data program. All you need to do is to copy the file "dhpstamm.mdb" from one computer to the other.
Best regards,
Jens

Perhaps you should first close your Dicam project?
Or restart the program, and open database only? -
Yes, that's correct.
