You can scale Plancad drawings in 2D, but it is not possible to scale down a 3D model.

Hello Daniel,
not exactly, but close to your example:
1. you have 3 roof faces
2. make a triangle, nearly parallel to the existing valley lines
3. push the triangle closer to the place where they are needed.
4. cut roof faces with 4-3
5. roof faces are correct, but not the ground polygon
6. push polygon points with 2-01-4 according to the roof linesAttention: there are different ways to push lines and points. For normal roof, use 3-2...5, for free roof use 2-01-2...5
height problem: yes, you can change it
- Turn roof calculation into 3d
- use 2-02, method 3 points
- select 3 existing points of the roof face, and add the same difference to zdone.

Hello Daniel,
you have double roof faces in your model. The one comes from a building contour, and in the same place you have free roof faces.
I deleted 2 free roof faces, and made some changes in the "normal" roof lines.Look at the result!

Hartweich-Verschneidung: Kegel = hart, Bohle = weich.
Willkommen in Dicam!

One or two years ago, I tried Foxit Reader, but since it cannot show 3d-pdf, it's useless to have it beside the AdobeReader.
"Just for fun" has nothing to do with pdf, but with 3d. It shows the same building site, that you see in the 3d-pdf example, and it has a funny story...
I got a phone call of a customer, who heard that I was able to measure walls and roofs without any rectangular angles. He already had an offer for a new and additional roof from an other carpenter. The carpenter came with a measuring tape, and the customer wanted to help him, holding the zero end. "No, I can do it alone!" said he, and went on alone.
The customer called him that evening, to ask if his measuring had been successful. "WE DO NOT PRODUCE SUCH A SHIT ROOF!" and hang up the phone...Two days later, I went there with my laser theodolite (you see it in the round picture), constructed the roof, and ordered material. :-))

Hi Kayaker,
if you try to push a wall with Dicam, you will get a copy, and it becomes a beam. The original wall will stay at it's place. You can use this "function" for special purposes...
If you push walls in the ground floor, where they are created, then all beams and parts which have the MOS of this wall, will be moved, too.
In Dicam, it is no problem to move all parts belonging to a wall, but not the wall body itself.
-
The answer would be easier when I could see what you mean.
You can push all parts in Dicam, but you must be careful what could happen.
Maybe there are intelligent connections, so if you push one part, an other will change it's length. Be sure not to push walls, ceilings or roof with Dicam. -
Arbeitsplatz fluchtartig verlassen?
