Is it not possible to install 32 bit ACad on 64 bit Windows 7?? I would have thought that it is possible. It is one of my colleagues in Lithuania - see error message below.

If I for example would like to share a concrete stair profile with someone else, is it possible to send that material database position to that person? (Version 7.03).

You're right! I just tried it out and now the roof ridge line is on top of my assisting geometry that illustrates the centerline of the house...

Really? - I did not know that function / feature. I have allways used a "manual" solution in such cases. But of course it is not totally exactly, but it have worked fine untill now. That I have to try out.

I tried to use recalculate, with no better result. I'll try again tomorrow after the computer have been restarted. I don't think I get more time to work today.

Can you see my assisting geometry?? When I draw lines - the center line of the house and the line in center of roof calculation these lies appr. 30 mm away from the ridge line of roof calculation??

This one I have a hard time to figure out why. I started to work on the walls under the roof, when I found that there was something that was not symmetric. Everything is symmetric - the roof outlines are symmetric related to the outside walls, same overhang at both sides, same roof slope etc. But the ridge of the roof is shifted 30 mm from the centerline of the house.

Can anybody see why??

I ended up using CutePDF.

Yeah, I also think I normally get colors exported as well. Well, if somebody complains about it, I can think more about about it. If nobody complains about it.....

Dietrichs 7.03. When you convert (export) drawings to dxf, it does not convert colors?? If a layer in D-Cad is set to some color, this color is not copied to the dxf file?

I just want to ask, so I know if I can do something about it or not.

My Dietrichs mouse pad is beginning to be broken in a few places. How to get a new???

No they are not colored standard grey - they look like this. I send two pictures one with correct textures - mine and one from her drawings.

All right. I have made these textures, used them in a 3D construction model and then sent the model to another for production of production drawings. Now she of course do not have these textures. Can I send the texture files to her and ask her to copy the files into the texture folder, overwrite the existing files - and then my textures will show up in the 3D model on her computer??? But she don't have these materials in material database as well - guess that would be a problem?

You need a triangular piece of glass? You can make it oversize rectangular, draw the triangle with assisting geometry and then cut the glass panel to these lines. (you should use panel for the glass, not beam).

Ok, I have checked the driver version - and the installed driver version actually match the new driver version. So maybe it just needed a shut down of the computer and turn on next day, in order to take effect.

Ok - but now I just started to work in Dietrichs - and now the drawings are not blinking - at all. But listen here: When I was finished to install this driver, my short cut icons on my desktop was completely messed up. So I cleaned it up and deleted also a few of them. Later I was out and I think I just turned off the external monitor - or maybe I was just eating dinner. But anyway, when I came back the desktop was back to what it was before. I have no idea what have happened. Maybe the driver rolled back itself, because there was something it was not compatible with in my setup... (?). I probably could check, by checking version number of driver. Perhaps I will do that later.

Hi. Just got a message from Nvidia, that there was new driver for my graphic card. Installed it - and now my drawings are blinking 3 times, when I change text and 1 time if I press "save"... I am of course not sure if that was the case also before I updated the Nvidia driver, but...

Graphic card is Geforce GTX460M and I am by the way using an external monitor Asus VK278Q, but I don't think that should mean anything.

It could also be that you have forgotten to hide the wall volume??
