dandepoe may indeed have been on the right track with the anti virus.
In AVG there is a feature called Resident Shield. Within that feature there is a dialogue box to create exceptions to whatever it is that Resident Shield does.
I created an exception for DIETRICHS09 through the path button and may problem seems to have gone away.

Oddly enough, Resident Shield has no problem with DIETRICHS08.

    Well Dan,

I would say that you are right. Something is up with my Work Environment. Since changing to the ENG2009, the problem has gone away.

I thought I was careful in not transferring Toolbars when I performed Data Transfer.

Maybe there is a conflict with one of my settings. I guess I'll try transferring one setting at a time from my previous Work Environment .

    Thanks again for the tip.

Interesting reply about the anti virus. I've had AVG running for quite a while with no problems before the error cropped up. I find Norton to invasive and I can't seem to turn off the firewall settings in Norton so much so that I can't network my computers. I've tried to completly turn off AVG but can't seem to find a setting for that either! :x

It seemed to have started after I clicked on the V 8 icon. Then I decided to backup all my pevious projects and simply delete V 8, But then something happened with the Project Data Program, (I can't remember what now) and I restored the Project Data Program and that part works as intended.

But I still get this WINEXE error and it is becoming inconvenient.

    Hi all,

First of all, thank you to the Dietrich's team for all the new updates

Used to be in version 7 there was a process for chamfering the ends of timbers. I can't find that smart tag in version 8 or 9 . I have deleted my version 7 back a few months .

I use that particular smart tag quite frequently and wonder if it is still available or if someone still has it in their database and would be willing to share it.

    Would be much appreciated.

I thought I was able to see Excel file from the documents category of the project admin. tree. I use Office 2007 and save my files as Excel Workbook files. Should I be saving them in a different format? :question_mark:

3-03 is a very cool function. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: Thanks for that tip ;)

But I think a little more flexibility would be nice, for example to move the end of a line, whether a dimension line or an object line, and not necessarily the corner point created by two lines. The feature allows me to choose a single line and move its end point only if it meets another line along its edge. If the end of the line I wish to move meets the end of another line, it appears I can only move the point created by the two lines. Having the capability to move the mid point of the line would also be a powerful feature.

In other words, move the ends of lines independently.

I would look for this feature only in D-CAD as I realize moving single ends of lines in a 3d model would be a nightmare. Mathematically speaking??

    Cheers
