hi again
What's the deal with the individual closure boards between rafters in Roof design 4-4?
The function allows me to place board on one side of my roof, but not the other ![]()

Hello
What would prevent the wall module from moving a wall? I wish to move a wall by 1 inch but I'm being told told that the value is out of the allowed array.
there is an adjoining wall 1 1/8" away parallel the wall I wish to move. If I delete the second wall, I can move the first. Then I must redraw a new wall.
Hello, I think this has been covered before but I could not readily find it on the forum.
A process is on the beam when you look at single beam info (Di-cam 3-1-1) but it does not appear visually on the display. In this case, it is the closure board grooves on the rafters (D-Roof 4-4).
Is it something about precision? :?
You guys are good ![]()
Thanks ![]()
Can I just send you the plf or do you need the whole packed project? ![]()
Danke Jens,
I will take the time to remove OFFICE and try it out. I'll let you guys know what happens in a day or so. I can always reload my old OFFICE
Thanks for that Jens,
If I completely remove OFFICE from my computer, as I am now using google docs, will I still have the capability to output from Project Data?
Hello,
I have another issue I can't seem to solve. I have several text boxes on one page. I can edit every single one except one particular box. I highlight it and right click for the menu and as soon as I choose EDIT, D-CAD dissapears from the screen. When I start D-CAD up again it does not ask the regular question about recovering or creating a new drawing as when it crashes.
I've tried pasting the particular block to a new drawing but it behaves in the same manner.
Thanks for any insight
Hi all
I'm still getting nowhere with printing wall pictures from dimension takeoff.
Please see my previous post for the last bit of the conversation.
Could it be I've lost the macro. Maybe even deleted it. Is it possible to send me the macro? I would need instructions on how to install it
Thanks for help.
Hi again,
Thanks for pointing out the safety settings, that's a new trick for me, but I'm still not getting anywhere. The first thing that is apparent is when I try to print a picture, a different version of WORD starts up. Not the version I have installed on my computer. I have WORD 2000. That's the one that opens when I output lists. Which works no problem. But when I try to print a picture I now get the attached message asking if I want to recover the data. I'm quite baffled?
:-k

I'm trying to output wall pictures from dimension takeoff. Twice I got the message from WORD that the macro was disabled. I tried to enable the macro to no avail. Then when I try again, WORD crashes and asks me if I want to open in safe mode. I tried both yes and no. Nothing works.
I looked under TOOLS > MACROS in Word but nothing comes up
:-k
Danke Planer.
It will be very useful! ![]()
Allo
I've been trying to locate where the door and window schedule information from Ground Plan gets outputted to Project Data.
I can't seem to find it anywhere ![]()
Your help is always appreciated
Hi all,
After looking back at previous posts, I found the answer to be DICAM 3-8-4.
Thank you Forum users! ![]()
Allo
I hope I'm not repeating myself here, I seem to have lost my post.
I'm looking to make a knife plate sawcut in the end of a diagonal brace.
I can't seem to find a command that allows me effectively do that.
Thanks for your help
You're entirely.
I'm actually quite in awe with what computer programers can make a computer do. And I tip my hat to this forum for providing answers to questions I couldn't find in a Help menu. ![]()
Maybe it's a question for Spiderman ![]()
I've run into the invisible joinery often on a recent project. Der planer's solution of tweaking the joinery by a very small amount was a good way to get the job done.
Hans.
Thanks Planer,
I'll try to set it up for my next roof plan ![]()
[quote='Jens Krause']Hi Vilmantas,
So for roofs you should create an "external" timber list in project data program. After outputting the list to word, you can also copy and paste the list to PlanCAD (D-CAD 2D) (make sure that you use a text-style with a sheet)
What does this mean for computer illeterate "make sure that you use a text-style with a sheet"??
Regards
Hansi
