Then to get the mortise through the curved beam you could try using the mortise function assigned from the smart tag library. I think that will do the mortise for you.
-
Can you please post the instructions to make Eureka moment?
-
You could review your move settings and see what that is set at.

Zitat von Joachim Neumann
We will see the DXF files in the normal tree with the projects in menu and you will be able to delete the files there.Kayaker and Hans:
His comment is: you will see these DXF files in the normal tree with the projects in menu and you will be able to delete these files there........after the next update to the program is issued to North American users.....Then you will be able to delete them using 3-1 in project administration....

Lower that wall total height to the level of the inside of the roof....where it should be cut...
-
And if you know the costs of these per unit, you can add that in the material data base as shown in Jason's first image (12-03-2009 7-40-08 pm.jpg) in the line price/unit. And when you do a cost list the price will be there as well.
-
ok, so we'll have to ask each time then....
-
Yes this is true, I have all three loaded in my machine. And for certain clients I have to use the older version.
Should I change my signature to show only one version? -
To All:
Now that we have many versions of the program out in the market, we should ask you all to post what version of the program you are using. This can be done in each post or by simply editing your signature so that we will all know what version you are using.
Thanks in advance

Can anyone tell me where to go to make the change to Larch?
If you do as mentioned above this will change the database and everywhere in the future that you use this it will be that new texture.
If you want to only do it for a few pieces or maybe one frame then highlight the pieces and change it locally in D-CAM....
-
If you want to eliminate the asking of the question select to work in one view port. This makes things faster as there are less mouse clicks to "ok" something......

There are lots of cuts and things we all need to learn more about....
Don't worry about it.... -
Dan:
Cut 3-9-4 gives you a housed dovetail joint.
Have you tried that? -

To make it parallel use offset. To know the distance you'll have to create a point on the arc line, perpendicular to the line and then measure that length (maybe).....
-
Jason:
Very nicely done... -
Another way would be to create a point perpendicular to the 2nd point on the top of the top cord line so that it is parallel with the first point.
When I do this I create a layer called points and create the point on that layer, then after dimensioning, I turn off the "points" layer so it doesn't show on the prints, but is there for verify your dimensions later should you need it. -
You maybe able to do a "save as" and in the second copy of the project, select all the surfaces you want to be white and change all of them as once, using "all active" button.....
-
Thanks, you are right, of course about the black lines.....
I have SnagIt, but don't use it as much as I should.......
