For a start i dont know how to insert just a glazed unit without a frame, at the moment i am using a vertical beam and chaging the properties to glass.

Also struggling to do a diagonal piece of glass.

Ive set the material to glass but it is not transparent and cant for the life of me find the transparent setting.

I have just received the update DVD for 11.02 but cannot install it.
If I run the custom setup and choose "upgrade" then it says there is no version of Dietrichs on the system to upgrade.
If I run new install, it tells me it cannot install into the same folder as a previous version of Dietrichs.
I cannot uninstall the previous version of Dietrichs since it does not appear in the programs list of control panel.
Please help!

Yes. The 3ds file format will include the full geometry only, with no hidden areas. These will have to be deleted in the importing program.

3d studio. These can be imported / exported by most CAD programs.

Hi, I have just installed Dietrichs v.11 as a first time user and desperately need some tutorials to get me started. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
