truss and metal connector

Hello

I am working under truss with metal connector type perforated nail plates (similar to Mitek system). In model I can see this metal pieces but there are no perforated nail plates at 2D drawing. Is it possible to show it with description ( type, number of fixtures) at 2D drawing? In material list fixtures have no description nail, screw only number.

Hi Plen,

what type of drawing do you create and in which program module? If you use "save current view" you can store everything in the drawing that you see in Dicam.

No, no it is too easy. I use truss drawing. What about information like type of metal connector and so on.

Hello Plen,

no it is not possible to do this in truss drawings. You can only do it in "save current view". Or you can pick parts of each plan and put them together in D-CAD 2D.

The description of the metal connectors can only be put out in the project data program. You can copy and paste it from there into the plan.
