New install on windows 7

    I have received my new computer and would like to install Dietrich's on it, but I have forgotten all the steps. Can you help me, please.


    Also, this new machine runs Windows 7. Is there special considerations?

    Hallo,


    just install the program as usual with the setup. I do not know if you have the kunde.daz as file or if you have got a code. You should know that before you start your installation.
    You should have admin rights during the installation and very important: The first time you start the program do that with mouse right and then select 'start as administrator'. That's just for the first time.

    Now, what would be the most effective way to get my database information from my old computer to the new. :question_mark: I have a lot of things there that I would not wish to start from the beginning.


    There's issues networking Windows 7 to older Windows OS, so I've been copying my Projects to dvd and then onto my new computer.


    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hallo again,


    your database information is inside the 'dhpstamm.mdb' in subdirectory DBA\ENG. Just copy this file from your old computer to the new one.

    Copy the Winvor/ ENG folder from C/ Dietrich08 Winvor/ ENG over, that has all your settings and properties. Your database file dhpstamm.mdb you have to copy to DHPDBA folder on C drive.
