Intersection of hips, ridge and rafters

This is probably another simple question, but I cannot get the hips and ridge and crown-rafter to cut each other nicely at the intersection. Any ideas what settings I should have used?

If I go one step further and put the common rafters at the end of the ridge, then it is even more of a mess.

If you select the rafter with the function to change the settings of the rafter you should have a look to the last option in the dialogue box. This option is responsible for the connection between rafter and hip or valley rafter.

What I am trying and failing to do is to move the hip rafters so they do not meet in the middle. Is there a setting for this?
We usualy run the crown rafter straight into the end of the ridge plate and then cut the hips into the side of the crown rafter as in the photo.

There is a setting which was not made for this type of construction but could help you. Please start the dialogue box 1-7-7 in modul roof construction. In the first field of the dialogue box enter the width of the plate and then recalculate the beams.
