    this option only makes sense to you if you make a proper calculation (cost estimating) for your company or even for each project. In this case it is a good tool to determine your hour machine costs.
    You will not find this in any book about carpentry. If you want to have more information about how to calculate hour machine costs and how to use them in your estimating, you should rather consult books about business studies. ;)

    Yes. You're right, but anyway are my bosses very interested about this information. We are having different kind of housetypes and it helps a lot if you know how many meters machine is able to process per hour. There is big difference between log-cabin and stickframe or timberframe.
    And if i know how many running meters material is one or other house i will get very quick average working time. Of course we are having alredy some numbers, but yesterday i was playing around with K2 Software and somehow i got exact results. Dont ask how, it just happens once.
    also we have three operators behind K2, and it is very good to know who's working and who's sleeping... :twisted:
