Single beam drawings/ centre of gravity

    Hi guys,


    I'm working on some single beam drawings, and I have 2 questions.


    On some of the drawings I have a centre of gravity mark and a "true weight ??Kg"


    Question 1


    Why have I got this on some drawings and not all? How do I turn it on and off?


    Question 2


    Is the true weight the original beam or does it allow for cut outs, mortices etc?

    Hi Lui,



    this information is added to a beam if you use (middle mouse button) "object info" and click on the button "Determine values" (bottom right). This function determines the center of gravity, the true volume and the true weight regarding all the processes on a beam.
    By the way: You can have that not only for single beams, but also for complete walls (wall design, function 1-4-1)

    I thought that might be the case, I'd been playing with the "determine values" but hadn't realised it would come out on the drawings.
