Ein denkmalgeschütztes Gebäude soll einen neuen Dachstuhl erhalten. Bei der Gelegenheit soll auch ein Turm wieder rekonstruiert werden, von dem nur ein einziges Bild aufzutreiben war.

Hat jemand schon einmal so etwas gemacht und könnte ein paar Tipps geben?

Das FSK gehört immer zu einem Fenster. Bist du sicher, dass nicht gerade ein andres Fenster aktuell ist?

I'm using Microsoft Frontpage, and it works fine. As a home user I only need a little fraction of all it's mighty functions. Perhaps you can get an older version for very small money, and even this can do much more than you need.

You should also have a picture editor or some tools for converting, cutting, resizing...
And sometimes it is not too bad to know something about html-language.

Lies die Dachpfanne aus der Bibliothek.
Drehe sie auf 0° Neigung (bzw. die Neigung, die zwischen 2 Pfannen auf der Lattung entsteht).
Speichere das als neues Element in die Bibliothek.
Ab jetzt kannst du die Pfanne genau an der Dachneigung ausrichten.

in the actual Beta_6 it is no longer possible to create 2 beam connections with 1 end of a post. Creating one is o.k., when connecting the second, then the first one is deleted immediately by the program. And that is the way the program usually works.

I also posted this problem in the german beta forum.
The logic of the program is to connect 1 post to 1 beam and automatically recognize, when one of them is moved; then the connection will also move. What we are trying here is too difficult for this logic, because it should work with 3 beams, but that is not (yet) programmed.

I think you're right, there is something going very strange with the wall construction. As I re-opened my test-project today, some posts were double or even quadruple at the same place. I deleted them and also tried to delete all shoulders, but some of them could not be deleted!. I looked into the single beam control menu, and the connections were gone. What I saw in wall construction, were only boolean operations, that are not made on the machine 8O

The only way to get it on the machine correctly: connect the posts with only 1 beam. Then explode the connection in single beam control menu. After this you can connect the posts to the next beam.

If you set the UNDO-steps to 0 (Dicam 1-7-2), the machine will work much faster.

@Dietrich's: Would it be possible to create both shoulders at once? And if not, would it at least be possible to manually connect a group of posts to a group of beams when they are one behind another as shown in the example?

Webspace is not too expensive, so don't take a "free" one with hundreds of sparkling banners. A .de-domain with 500 MB you can get for 1 Euro/month, first setup may cost about 20 Euro. I think this would be available in Denmark too

it is not necessary, to change the length of the posts. Do the settings for the automatic shoulders with 5-2-2 then set "1" and "2" and the depth, maybe 0,02m. While putting the posts, be sure to have the correct connecting settings, then all shoulders are made automatically, except those in the double beams. You can add these with 6-4-3, only be sure to have the same settings as you made for the automatism! Then select all posts that shall be connected to all beams (you can do it by using groups).

There will be no problems, if there are equal project numbers in different directories. But as you don't know the other one's directories, you'd better do the changing for him.

Dann soll er mal zeigen, welcher Sparren nicht eingebaut wurde, und welche Pfette nicht die statisch geforderten Abmessungen hat. Er wird nichts finden, das er abziehen kann. Auf eine andere Diskussion lasse ich mich nicht ein. Wenn es härter kommen sollte, habe ich meine Ursprungskalkulation in der Schublade liegen und kann nachweisen, dass alles korrekt kalkuliert wurde. Wenn er tatsächlich mit dem Angebot hausieren gegangen ist, und ein anderer hat die Zahlen geglaubt, dann habe ich doch mein Ziel erreicht. Und dann kann ich dem Häuslebauer auch sagen, dass ein Angebot sehr wohl Geld kostet. Nämlich meins.
Ich verkaufe ihm schließlich kein (beliebig verwendbares) Angebot, sondern einen vernünftigen Dachstuhl zu einem reell kalkulierten Preis.

No, not copy and paste. The total project will be copied by the program and all files will get a new name. In my example: I create a new project 60998 and overtake the existing project 51105. Now there are two projects with identically content, but different file names. All files are copied from 51105xxx.yyy to 60998xxx.yyy
Then if you want, you can delete the old project.

You have to delete some old pictures (in your user profile), or ask J. Neumann for more space. :pray:

No, you cannot simply change it.
Create a project and take over all content of the existing one.
Then delete the old project.

leg mal im Plancad eine Schraffur über die einzelnen Flächen und lass mit 6-9-Schraffurübernahme die Grundfläche berechnen. Teile sie durch den Cosinus der Dachneigung, dann kannst du prüfen wo der Fehler liegt.
