    In a project I suddenly have a empty position. Not sure why. Are the GBD files the position files?? That could sound correct, because the file 13101008.gbd is missing and the position 8 is empty.


    So is it this file I should recover from backup???

    Recovering the gbd-file from a backup-version is worth a try. But please make a copy of the project first.
    the gbd-file is one of the position files. It contains the "map" of the positions.

    Ok - there was also a k00 file that was missing for position 8. Recovering only the gbd-file didn't help, but recovering also the k00 file, did the job as far as I can see.
