Profile height problem

    Hi Everyone


    I have noticed that when you set a roof profile to have its height measured to the top of the roof buildup, it actually measures it to the top of the slice directly above the rafters and not to the top of the whole roof build up.


    I wonder if this will be corrected in V 5.04 or will it wait till v 6.00?

    I'm not sure that I did understand everything.
    We didn't change anything in profile. Normaly we measure the height at the top of slice 0 because this is the position where we built the roof face.

    If you look at the attached image you will see that the measurement of 4.000 aligns to the top of the slice above slice 0.


    However, I set the 4.000 measurement in the profile settings (see image in previous post) to be the top of the roof buildup.


    I think something is wrong.

    No, that's ok. In the first picture you selected the option number 3 for this height. Option number 3 measures the height at the upper side of the slice which is directly below the slice for the battens.

    Ahhhh. In that case it's a translation problem because Option 3 suggests that the measurment is for ALL of the roof build up - at least it does to me!!!


    Anyway, I think this is a strange choice. Could it be taken to the TOP of the roof build up - this would be much more useful.


    Any chance of this being changed in V6.00 please??

    a part of the german text has been lost in the translation. In german the text says "roof buildup: BE battening slice". We will correct that as soon as possible.
