    I am making a roof that is covered with sinus shaped thin steel plates. When making roof properties I found "Metall Cladd 1".


    But I can't find a way to change the color of the steel plate to black, since this is only a slice panel, not a real construction object??

    How?? If I click on "texture set > B" it just changes to "Structure > T" ???

    Hi Thorvald,


    you can make your own texture, and store it in Gif\Freitext\textur_0...9.
    These textures are shown in 1x1 m.
    If you only need them for 1 project, you can save them in a temp folder, and overwrite the existing files. These 10 texture sets were made for this use.


    Copy an other texture file, change the color in any picture editor, and save it as "Freitext\textur_0...9"

    Where to find the texture "Metall Cladd 1"?? How to change the color - with brightness? But with that I couldn't change the color to red t.ex. - if that is what I wished. I use Paint Shop Pro, version 7.

    Another thing - when I look in t.ex. Gif\massivba there seems to be a lot more textures than I have availabe in the program??

    there is no picture file named "metall cladd 1". This is the english name for the texture set.
    The real texture is in the Gif folder, and named "picturename.bmp"
    Change one of the bmp's and save it as "\Freitext\textur_0.bmp"
    You have PSP7! It can do a lot more than only change brightness and contrast. Take some Sunday afternoons, and learn the other 9999 features. :grinning_squinting_face:

    Aha, I couldn't find it in the menus - then I was reading "Umschalt+U" and then my best guess was that this would be "Shift+U" - and yes it was!! :)


    And now I see, that it is already black, because the values are 0,0,0. It just doesn't look like a black steel plate, because there some light on it.
