Video capture - Open GL

    Hi


    Has anyone had any success in creating avi movies of real time views of a frame in Open GL.


    I have tried Camtasia with limited success - tends to be very jerky, and I have just downloaded a small programme called Fraps which I haven't figured out yet.


    I just wondered if anyone else had got more useful experience.

    Below is an example of what I'm doing with Camtasia. It's not perfectly smooth but I find it serves the purpose for what I'm using it for. Give the video a few minutes to load before viewing.

    Hi Rob,


    I have used the freeware http://www.debugmode.com/wink. It is quite flexible and you adjust the framerate for "time captures" to the performance of your machine. You can also edit and delete single frames of the motion to make it look more "smooth".
